Fest Jazzl is already committed to this approach: setting up shuttle services, managing waste, and raising awareness among the public, artists, technicians, and volunteers. Everyone's involvement is essential to minimizing the environmental impact of Fest Jazz.

To achieve these goals, we benefit from close collaboration with the environmental department of the Communauté de Communes (local council), which, in addition to its essential logistical support, provides us with its technical expertise to define priorities and potential areas for improvement (working meetings are held in the spring and again in the spring to review the festival). Our primary focus is on the proper selective management of waste. To this end, we have implemented clear signage indicating collection points, located as close as possible to food and beverage outlets (snack bars, crêperies, food trucks, and bars). We have also established a system for collecting eggshells (as a source of lime for gardens) and for collecting cigarette butts (for recycling).

Our efforts also extend to supplies: for food, we prioritize short supply chains and local products, and for technical products, particularly regarding communication, we strive to limit the amount of paper used (brochures, posters, programs, etc.) by using QR codes. Regarding site access, shuttle buses have been set up, as well as a bicycle parking area. To facilitate access to concerts for people with reduced mobility, a volunteer has been appointed. The Ty Récup association, whose aim is to raise public awareness about waste reduction, reuse, and recycling, has a stand throughout the festival.

For future editions, we will continue our efforts to inform all stakeholders (technicians, artists, food trucks, suppliers, etc.) about our eco-friendly approach. With the environmental department of the Haute Cornouaille Community of Municipalities, we will work on setting up a bio-waste recycling program. We will install two drinking water access points to reduce the use of plastic containers. Several projects are also under consideration: replacing some of the traditional toilets with composting toilets, creating a fun area for charging phones while pedaling, an eco-responsible charter for food trucks, and expanding the parking lot.
cycling, reducing paper volume…

["post-20","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
