CHiCAGO STOMPERS

Get ready for a real trip back to the 1920s!

The “Chicago Stompers” are one of Italy’s most famous “hot jazz” bands.

With them, a whole chapter of jazz history will be brought to life as faithfully as possible through transcriptions and arrangements that accurately reproduce the orchestrations of the 1924–1931 period.

To achieve this goal and bring a true period concert to life, the orchestra’s work is meticulous: the use of vintage musical instruments, the study and practice of the instrumental and vocal techniques of the era, as well as the stage movements, and an obsessive attention to appearance, attire, and staging.

The ingredients of this perfectly authentic show are sure to leave room for a generous dose of joyful comedy. The “Chicago Stompers” have earned their international reputation at the most renowned jazz festivals and clubs.

They are coming to Brittany for the first time!
