Ever since the early years of Fest Jazz, music and dance have gone hand in hand! Hundreds of dancers come to swing to the catchy tunes of our artists, while the audience watches in delight. And to ensure the best possible dancing experience, dance floors have been set up in front of the festival’s three stages! It’s enough to get the whole world swinging!

Fest Jazz invites you to join introductory Lindy Hop workshops led by two professional dancers: Peter & Chloé!
As dance instructors for the Swing du Tonnerre association, Chloé and Peter are in high demand across Europe for numerous workshops and festivals. Full of energy and good humor, they bring a playful approach to Lindy Hop.
They place the relationship between partners at the heart of the dance and emphasize how this enhances both technique and freedom of movement!
With their help, you’ll easily pick up the steps you need to dance at the festival. A warm and friendly experience you won’t want to miss!
Two class levels are offered: “Beginner” (for those taking their first steps in dance) and “Intermediate” (for those who already know the basics of Lindy Hop).

Admission is free and no registration is required for all Fest Jazz ticket holders (1-day, 3-day, or 4-day)

Fest Jazz welcomes dancers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned veterans, and partners with numerous local organizations: Swing du Tonnerre, Presqu’ïle Swing, La Swing Factory, Tregor Swing, Swing 56, Autour du swing, Swingin’ in the Rennes, Hop’n Swing, and many others!
Members of a swing dance club are eligible for discounted rates: simply purchase your ticket on our website and show proof of membership when you arrive at the festival!
