Classic Cars

For the past ten years, Fest Jazz has become a focal point for a spectacular classic car rally featuring vehicles from the United Kingdom and France. An exhibition of these wonderful vehicles takes place in the village square on Saturday morning and at the festival entrance every afternoon from Friday through Sunday.

These activities are organized in partnership with “Les Véhicules Anciens du Léon, de Cornouaille et du Trégor” (V.A.L.C.T.).

If you own a classic car, here are the benefits of registering for the festival:

  • A discount on the festival admission price (€25 per day instead of €32)
  • Reserved parking inside the festival grounds throughout the weekend. This is a real advantage, as the festival grounds are “car-free” and only registered classic vehicles have access.
  • A Friday evening reception with the mayor and other officials; free wine and canapés for classic car owners.
  • A car parade on Saturday morning at Place de la Résistance, in the center of the village.
  • Une table sera réservée pour le repas du samedi midi, dans un restaurant local, à partir de 12h00. Plus d’informations à venir. Pour réserver votre place au repas, envoyez un courriel à  en indiquant votre nom et le nombre de personnes.

In addition, the V.A.L.C.T. is organizing a walk on Sunday morning around Châteauneuf-du-Faou. The walk includes a visit to a notable regional heritage site, with a coffee and cake break, and concludes in Châteauneuf with a shared aperitif indoors.

This free event is limited to 30 vehicles. It is open to anyone with a Fest Jazz pass for Sunday, as well as to those who register with Jean-Luc Bernard. Only vehicles manufactured before 1970 are permitted, though exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.
