Aälma Dili
An exhilarating and eccentric Balkan dance party!
Aälma Dili: “the soul of the mad,” in Romani. Formed in the eastern suburbs of Paris, this group performs a repertoire faithfully inspired by the Balkans, “svadba” celebrations, and world music with ease and good humor.
Composed of two violins, a guitar, and a double bass, the quartet knows how to make their voices heard to awaken the Gypsy soul in every audience member. Their nomadic world opens up to you and sweeps you away on an intoxicating and eccentric Balkan dance party. Aälma Dili invites you on a journey through the little-known paths of Gypsy culture, making you lose all sense of direction, from madness to melancholy
