DARK SWALLOWS
The DARK SWALLOWS project was conceived around a table at the café-concert “Les Anges” in Quelven in August 2019.
Singers Natacha Betzy-Raly, Adeline Haudiquet, and Enora De Parscau already knew each other, as all three were members of Vocal Bardak. Coming from very different musical backgrounds, they took on the challenge of building a repertoire together, with three voices… David Er Porh joined them and complemented their warm harmonies with rhythms that are both solid and delicate.
Their English-language repertoire is shaped by their whims, blending folk sounds, hints of funk, and Irish tones, all while maintaining a unique identity.
Les Sombres Hirondelles (“Dark Swallows”) envelop the audience in their innocent bubble—a welcome respite in this harsh world!
