"Taking The Plunge" is a musical experience that draws upon classic jazz to generate a more contemporary energy. Featuring Noé Huchard on piano, Raphaël Dever on double bass, and David Grebil on drums, Malo Mazurié’s quartet will create a captivating atmosphere, blending the sounds of the 1930s with modern musical explorations.

Prepare to be surprised by bold rearrangements of jazz classics—from Jelly Roll Morton’s work reimagined as a habanera to Bix Beiderbecke’s music set in a five-beat rhythm. The album also features eight original compositions that pay homage to jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, and Irving Berlin. These tracks retain the essence of jazz while captivating a modern audience.
