RAY TIME

Ray Charles had the brilliant idea of creating songs by blending elements from different musical styles, with an open mind free from any form of bigotry.

His gems recorded in the 1950s are among our favorites, blending jump blues, gospel, and rhythms from New Orleans and the Caribbean. It is by performing this repertoire that RAY TIME wishes to pay tribute to “The Genius,” a magnificent pianist with a voice that is the very embodiment of soul.
