Spider Crawl

Spider Crawl passionately revives the blues of the 1930s and 1940s, a period when washboard bands enjoyed their heyday.
A musical journey that takes you from the Delta Blues of the Deep South’s juke joints, to the Ragtime of Memphis’s jug bands, all the way to the Hokum Blues of Chicago’s Bluebird Studios.
Following in the footsteps of Washboard Sam, Big Bill Broonzy, Tampa Red, and many others, Spider Crawl invites you into the fascinating world of the origins of the blues, an iconic musical genre that has transcended borders and eras.
